Pipe rod hanger assemblies are static restraints designed to withstand tensile load only. They are rigid vertical type supports providing hanging support from the top only. They typically consist of a clamp, eye nuts, tie rod, and beam attachment. Rod hangers components and component sizing will depend on the pipe size, load, temperature, insulation, assembly length, and a variety of other factors.
Pipe rod hangers are often carbon steel but can be supplied in a variety of metals and finishes depending on the final application, including high corrosion resistant finishes.
