Pipe clamps are designed for support and attachment of pipe to structural members. Due to additional temperature effects, pipe clamps and pipe bearings are the most vulnerable components of the support chains in heat conducting piping. At the same time their surrounding insulation makes regular inspection very difficult. Particular attention must therefore be paid to the design of these critical components.
