Pipe shoes are generally a form of rigid support that restricts pipe movement and provides support. The most common pipe shoe is a bolt-on pipe shoe which is a pipe shoe base affixed to pipe clamps that will wrap around the entire circumference of the pipe. These pipe shoes may come in a wide variety of variations, materials, and level of reinforcement depending on their application. They may also be fabricated with slide plates or be insulated for cryogenic application.
